yeah... still at it. but soon ... soon... -writing that with a desperate smile on my face. i said these word to myself for weeks now.
some inofficial asdt news : i played around with the antlr 3 early acces 8 and i am 50% complete with generating the exact parser ast the jdt jikes parser is generating. not 50% in theory but in actual code. offset information already works like a charm. i have completed all interface level astnodes.
there are still some things that i worry about. i heard rumors about an incremental parser feature of antlr 3.0. that would rock so much. but will it work with the level of ast abstraction i plan right now?
and will the error-recovery work as i hope it will in the stable release?
we will see in this summer.
