i am now matriculated in emden at an virtual university. i study medien informatik and will be a bachlor of computer science in (hopefully) six semesters.
my studies are online most of the time. we have three presence weekends per semester. its convenient that two friends of mine -living there- will share their rooms for the weekends.
they use online classrooms with Flashcom based video conference. maybe its my turn someday to introduce a red5 solution for this, who knows ?
emden is a nice little town with something about 52k citizens. 9k of them are students. its very close to the Netherlands and the north sea. while drinking some coffee in the city i noticed that many people were greeting each other. that makes a nice atmosphere.
