Hi!
Since my last post in December I was busy learning Python and the excellent Django web framework (, yes - named after the famous Belgian gypsy-jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt). Python is very impressive and i just fell completely in love with the Django project.
The obvious thing to do when learning Django is to roll your own blog. However, i think about scrapping all current entries. So many things on this blog are obviously dump, uneducated and boring. But maybe a disclaimer would do... I wonder how others face their past digital identity.
I learned a lot in the past few month. Among the more important things are to grok the word grok and not to rush - things will turn out as they will. Both wisdoms are aquired from Robert A. Heinlein.
I started many other web projects. One is already online: http://roomculture.de is a self managed digital showroom for European designer furniture. This project took me about a week from first keystroke to online version and only a couple of hours actual work and design.
I hope one of the other projects will make myself financially independent so i can skip/slow my annoying bachelor studies.
